Jodie Tiller
VICE PRESIDENT
As the manager of Mason Horvath, Jodie brings considerable experience to the team, not just in planning travel but also from her adventures abroad. Absolutely everything excites her about travel, from getting on the plane to checking out her hotel room to relaxing on a beautiful beach or exploring an ancient temple.
The thing she looks forward to most on vacation is eating! Everything from crickets at a street vendor to enjoying dinner at a Michelin-star restaurant, “I love trying the local cuisine no matter where I am!” The most interesting cuisine she’s experienced, “When I was travelling around Australia for a year and lived on a camel farm in the outback for three months; we ate camel at every meal. Camel stew, camel roast, camel burgers; it was delicious!”
Jodie is a foster parent for two children in Egypt and Indonesia through Plan Canada. Her charitable nature and passion for travel took her to Solio, Kenya in November 2011 with Moving Mountains where she helped to build a classroom for local children.
Jodie’s favourite aspect of her job is the people. Outside of the office she enjoys reading, walking her dog, playing poker, camping and spending time with her niece. She describes herself as fun, motivated and interesting.
The one thing she can’t live without on vacation is her waterproof iPod dock!
